The Forum runs governance programs in Ethiopia, Nigeria, South Africa and Sudan.
Ethiopia The Forum is also working actively with the House of Federation (our official Government partner in Ethiopia) and the Ministry of Federal Affairs. Past events in the Ethiopia program include:

South Africa The Forum will continue to work closely with South Africa-based individuals and organizations for its programs in Africa and elsewhere.
In Sudan, the Forum of Federations works with civil society, academia and government at all levels. These activities are part of a multi-year project that is funded by the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT). The Forum is providing Sudanese with training and public awareness on federalism in Sudan, as a vital contribution to the implementation of federalism-related aspects of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement. In the government sector, the Forum is working at the central government level (Government of National Unity, GNU) as well as with the Government of Southern Sudan (GOSS) and the state governments.
